OpenGrass has been producing Jams, Events, Festivals and now Interactive Arts and Music Camps since 2004.
We started with our FreeStyle Jam in Lake Worth, Fl, the most artistically oriented community in South
Florida (Palm Beach County) in March of 2004 with a small P.A. on a Fix stage at the Cultural Plaza, a
small park located between 2 government buildings and a handful of artists and musicians that would come
every Sunday to share their talent with us.
From there we moved to the Bryant Park, just a couple of blocks east, and produce the Earth Day Peace
Jams of 2005, 2006 and 2007 and the Open Grass Festivals of 2007 and 2008, our last Open Grass
Festival in Florida was at the Old, School Square in Delray Beach on January of 2009.
We did our first camping festival in the mountains outside Asheville NC: Ashefest at the end of the Summer 2007.
In 2009 we did a couple of Gatherings outside Tampa, Fl. to celebrate the unofficial beginning and end of the
summer: RAINDANCE I & II.
In 2010 we move to Berryville Va. Doing a small OpenGrass Festival on the 4th of July weekend.
